Essential Oils

In the book, Deborah: Mother of Israel, Deborah and her mother distilled the essential oils, the vital fluids of plants, from the flora around them. They purchased oils such as frankincense, hyssop, and cypress from the caravan master when the caravan passed near their village.

I was fascinated with the use of oils. Before I wrote about them in Deborah: Mother of Israel, I researched how the Israelites used oils to promote healing. We can use these same oils today.
